To support the work in lessons we have a variety of clubs (at lunchtime and after school) which everyone can access. Some of the clubs are linked to aspects of games, where you will take part in tournaments and matches against other schools. Key Stage 4 Physical EducationIn Year 10, we shall select pupils to complete the Short or Full Course GCSE, in which they will study two (Short) or four (Full) practical areas and learn basic theory for a written examination. Across Years 10 and 11 you will study the following:
Throughout the two years, you will have the opportunity to develop skills such as choreography, referee / umpire games and organise tournaments. The aim of the course is not just to develop skills but to understand the need to maintain fitness both now and in the future.
