Ofsted defines an educationally inclusive school as ‘one in which the teaching and learning, achievements, attitudes and well being of every young person matters’.

Gaining a Quality Mark in inclusion does not depend on the school’s attainment in their exam results but instead focuses upon learning and achievement in its widest sense and looks at how schools see differences as opportunities for learning.

As an Inclusion Team we aim to always have:

• updated and secure knowledge of the students
• provision to match the students’ needs
• a robust monitoring and evaluating system in place to assess the quality and impact of the provision on attainment
